There’s no crying in baseball!

On Sunday, at the Bentonville Film Festival in Bentonville, Arkansas, a good chunk of the cast of 1992 hit A League of Their Own reunited for a baseball game!

The reunion was partially organized by star Geena Davis, who cofounded the six-day film festival to help empower women and female voices in the media.

Geena attended along with costars Tracy Reiner, Anne Ramsay, Freddie Simpson, Megan Cavanaugh, and Patti Pelton; unfortunately, Tom Hanks, Lori Petty, Rosie O’Donnell, and Madonna couldn’t make it out.

The 60-year-old actress said of the get together:

“This event was so popular last year that we decided to do it again. And I’m so thrilled to have six of my Rockford Peaches cast mates attending the game this year.”

But the reunion wasn’t all Hollywood as Gina Casey, one of the original REAL-LIFE Rockford Peaches — the team the ladies played in the movie — joined in on the fun and even threw out the first pitch! Get it grrrl!

Though reunions like this don’t happen too often due to schedules, we’re betting there’s going to be a bigger and better one next year!

What early ’90s cast would you love to see reunite?!
