Nicole Scherzinger Burns Her Broadway Bridges, Ditching Cats For X Factor… And Andrew Lloyd Webber Is Absolutely FURIOUS!

no title

We love her… but this is a TERRIBLE career move!

Nicole Scherzinger may be most well-known as the former lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls, but she’s managed to make a name for herself in the world of Broadway thanks to her impeccable voice.

And it sure doesn’t hurt that Andrew Lloyd Webber himself is her biggest supporter having utilized her numerous times as Christine in Phantom of the Opera.

Unfortunately, it seems as though Nicole isn’t too appreciative of the legend taking a chance on a pop star because she just chose X Factor over one of the most famous musicals of all time!

Apparently, Nicky was supposed to begin rehearsals for Cats on Broadway next week but decided last minute to return to the UK singing competition now that Cheryl, Rita Ora, and Nick Grimshaw have all quit!

The Right Honourable Lord Webber is rightfully pissed because he actually believed she was set to win the Tony Award for her role as Grizabella in 2017, saying:

“A week before we were due to go into rehearsals with Cats — which luckily I’m not producing I have to say — she calls me and says she’s decided to do X Factor, having agreed to it. She’s crazy, but the American producers took a view of, ‘Oh fine, we’ll get someone else.’ She’s actually not that well known in America. She’s better known here. I’m furious because I really believe she’s the most fantastically brilliant girl and I went out on a limb to get her at the Palladium and now I look like an absolute twat with them all!

Dayum, Andrew!!!

While we agree completely with his take on the whole ordeal, we hope this doesn’t ruin their working relationship… because she really is one of the most talented singers out there right now.

Do U think she’ll stick with Simon Cowell… or will she do the right thing and return to ALW??
