She was really just making sure Molly died in time for Ghostbusters this Summer…
Now that we’re living in a world where premiere television mostly exists on cable channels and streaming services, the Big Five networks are being forced to make their toughest programming decisions ever.
Not only does that explain last week’s must-see massacre that gave us at least thirteen TV casualties, but it also helps justify why former hits like Mike & Molly and Castle said goodbye with their series finales on Monday night!
The CBS sitcom and ABC buddy cop drama bowed out at six and eight seasons a piece, and stars like Melissa McCarthy, Nathan Fillion, and Stana Katic were quick to thanks fans on Twitter after their episodes aired!
Ch-ch-check out the Mike & Molly and Castle casts’ final farewells (below)!!!

BTW, Melissa shared her thoughts on M&M‘s cancellation when the news first broke back in December, saying:
Speaking of families, Castle and Beckett — affectionately referred to by fans as Caskett — were allowed to live happily ever after due to cancellation.
But it was a sad farewell for the cast:
Well. That’s it. Thank you, everyone. What an incredible journey.
