Today, a new report from the Star Tribune in Minneapolis has revealed that the Grammy winner was likely dead for more than six hours before his body was found in an elevator at his estate in Paisley Park.

Sheriff’s deputies received a call at around 9:43 a.m. on the morning of April 21 calling for medical attention for the stricken singer — and, of course, he was officially pronounced dead less than half an hour later — but it appears that he had been long gone before that, unfortunately.
