But thankfully here’s a bit of positive news!
Now that the 34-year-old is out SLAYING concerts across the country, she’s finally received what we ALWAYS thought she needed — a holiday!
On Monday, the governor of Minnesota Mark Dayton announced May 23, 2016, is officially “Beyonc├â┬⌐ Day” in Minnesota!
Dayton made the announcement outside of TCF Bank Stadium where the brunette beauty would perform her fourth concert in the Twin Cities that night. The governor’s office released a statement regarding the holiday saying:
“Beyonc├â┬⌐ has influenced many Minnesota girls and women with the powerful, positive messages in her music, and her impact and success have been widely-recognized.”
Mark also took to Twitter to share:
Unfortunately, Monday night’s concert didn’t go exactly according to plan as rain and thunderstorms threatened to cancel the show at the outdoor arena.
Ugh, this happens every Beyoncé Day! LOLz!
After evacuating the stadium though, fans were eventually reportedly able to return to their seats to enjoy the best show ever!
Even if it’s just in Minnesota, we’re happy that a whole city is celebrating Bey the way she deserves!
