Talk about embarrassing!
On Sunday, Miss District of Columbia Deshauna Barber was named the winner of the 2016 Miss USA pageant and had A LOT better day than Miss California Nadia Mejia!
That’s because when it came time for the question portion of the competition, Mejia — who was a favorite going into the competition — was asked about our current economy and well, her answer was pretty disastrous as you can tell by a clip of her answer (below):

But even though the 19-year-old didn’t win — or make the final three for that matter — she showed she has a great sense of humor as she took to Instagram to share a musical response to her awkward moment. Not only that, but the brunette beauty teamed up with one of the Backstreet Boys, Howie Dorough — who happened to be in Sin City as he performed with his bandmates at the pageant — for a spoof on their hit song I Want It That Way!
Ch-ch-check out Nadia’s AH-Mazing response to her crappy Miss US answer!
