Why don’t you tell us how you really feel, Benicio Del Toro?
In an interview with the Daily News’ [email protected], Benicio gave his opinion on the controversial alleged domestic abuse drama between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp. The famed director is just one of the MANY people who’ve come forward with their two cents on the unfortunate he said/she said situation.
Benicio, who costarred alongside Depp in the 1998 film Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, unequivocally sided with his old pal while also taking the opportunity to slam Amber in the process. The icon’s damning statement on the case is in direct conflict with photographer iO Tillett Wright‘s Twitter rant in defense of the actress.
Summing up his thoughts on A.H.’s character, Mr. Del Toro expressed:
“What I know, there’s a lot of trouble from the girl that sounds a little manipulative. It sounds a little bit like there’s something really twisted about that girl … but I don’t know the specifics.”
Dayum! “Manipulative” is a bit harsh, especially when you don’t have “specifics” on the case!
As for why the celeb feels so negatively about Ambs, he explained:
“It seems the fact that his mom passed away and she filed for divorce two days later and then she wants money and she’s saying she got hit, it’s almost like, wait, I saw them not too long ago. Maybe it was January, a dinner for the Oscars or something like that. He was there with her and they were fine.”
Well, appearances can be deceiving, Benicio.
On the other hand, we don’t know Johnny like Del Toro does. The 49-year-old remained adamant that his friend is “a nice guy, very caring, very smart”.
So, what do YOU think of Del Toro’s comments?
