Jeremy Jordan is asking for the public's help!

Jeremy Jordan is attempting to be his own cousin’s superhero and rescue her from a “remote boarding facility” to help “pray away the gay” in Texas.

The Supergirl star has been pleading on social media for fans’ help in order to free Sarah, who he says has been trapped at the camp for a year, after she took a girl to prom.

He previously wrote in a Facebook post, explaining:

“I can’t believe beautiful, smart, incredible kids like my cousin Sarah are still being told that being gay is wrong. But it’s worse than that for Sarah… She’s been placed at a remote boarding facility to help “pray away the gay” for a year with no communication to the outside world. She may not be able to see it now, but please show her how much she matters and take a stand to help us free this wonderful young woman and welcome her back to a world of love and acceptance. ├óΓé¼┬¬#├óΓé¼┼╜SaveSarah├óΓé¼┬¼

The 31-year-old’s extended family has been trying to hire a lawyer to get Sarah released, but the legal fees have been expensive. They set up a GoFundMe page for the 17-year-old, which you can find HERE.
