UPDATE! 8:47 p.m. EST: Frequent Pulse Nightclub goer Kevin West says mass shooter Omar Mateen messaged him on gay dating app Jack’d on and off for a year. He even saw Mateen AN HOUR before he killed forty-nine people. After dropping a friend off at the club at 1 a.m., he noticed the killer crossing the street wearing a dark cap and carrying a black cell phone.
“He walked directly past me. I said, ‘Hey,’ and he turned and said, ‘Hey!”‘
After the shooting occurred, West handed over his phone and Jack’d log-in formation to the FBI.
Wow, this is so f*cked up.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, mass shooter Omar Mateen visited Pulse Nightclub MANY times before he killed forty-nine people this past Saturday.
Per past visitors at the club, Omar repeatedly went to the venue over the course of three years. The killer reportedly talked to customers about his personal life in addition to exhibiting wildly erratic behavior.
One patron recalled:
“Sometimes he would go over in the corner and sit and drink by himself, and other times he would get so drunk he was loud and belligerent. We didn’t really talk to him a lot, but I remember him saying things about his dad at times. He told us he had a wife and child.”
How awful. The “belligerent” behavior lines up with what Mateen’s ex-wife described.
Another source went on to add that the murderer pulled a knife on him and a friend after one of them made a joke about religion:
“He ended up pulling a knife. He said if he ever messed with him again, you know how it’ll turn out.”
Woah. It’s unfortunate not more was done regarding Omar’s frightening behavior.
In another shocking revelation, reporter Christopher Hayes revealed the violent man might have messaged people on a gay dating app:
The man I spoke with today also said the shooter has messaged him on a gay dating app. His friend as well. We’ll run the interview tonight.
