Orlando Shooter Donated Blood Before The Attack — To A Center That Supplied Blood To The Victims! Wow…

More twisted details have emerged about Omar Mateen.

The gunman who killed 49 people at an Orlando nightclub on Sunday gave blood to a donation center that supplied much of the blood used to help his victims. Disgusting!

On Wednesday, the OneBlood donation center confirmed that Mateen donated blood less than two weeks before the shooting.

Officials from the center looked into the matter after an employee recognized the shooter from a mobile blood drive. OneBlood vice president Susan Forbes said in a statement to ABC News:

“OneBlood has learned that Omar Mateen donated blood at a mobile blood drive in Ft. Pierce, Florida, on May 29. All facets of the donation were in our normal parameters for blood donation, including screening questions and post-donation blood testing. A staff member recognized Mateen’s face from media photos and told their supervisor.”

Though Forbes said employees confirmed Mateen’s donation, they did not say whether his blood was used. Usually, the supply can be used up to 42 days after donation.

After the shootings, hundreds of people lined up to donate blood to help the victims of the worst mass shooting in American history.

The center was also rocked by the shooting after confirming that lab supervisor Rodolfo Ayala-Ayala — who worked at the center since 2011 — was killed in the massacre.

The center said in a statement:

“He was passionate about saving lives and took great pride in the lifesaving work he performed. Rodolfo was often called upon to share his knowledge and best practices with many of the people in his department and was an intricate part of a team of people who work diligently to help save lives. He was a caring and friendly person and will be greatly missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing him.”

It seems that Mateen was hoping his blood would go to the very victims he hurt, as a part of his sick plan — but the thousands of other donors who want to actually help those in need prove that there is much more good in this world than evil.
