Real Housewives of New York City vet Ramona Singer is standing by costar Jules Wainstein as her marriage comes to an end. Now that’s friendship!
As we previously reported, the newest member of the RHONY franchise faced sad news when her husband Michael filed for divorce this week after eight years of marriage. So sad!
However, it seems Miz Wainstein won’t be alone as she navigates through her new single life. On Jules’ shocking split, Ramona dished to E! News:
“I’m very saddened for Jules. I know her heart’s broken. It’s never easy when there are problems in a marriage, especially when you realize you need to divorce and I’m there for her. She’s doing as well as she can in the situation and her priority├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥because she is such a great mother├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥are her two children.”
Tissues, anyone? In fact, the mother of two was just as shocked as her cast mates to learn of her husband’s filing as Singer added:
“I think Jules was totally shocked by what happened and was very disappointed and it’s sad. It’s just very sad.”
While filming has been listed as one of the major factors in the twosome’s split, it appears there is a silver lining in being associated with the hit reality TV show as the housewives are rallying around Jules. The Bravo star concluded:
“I believe in girls’ code. Girls help other girls and I know I’m going to be there so much for her. I’ve already spoken a number of times with her and I plan to meet with her and just be there to support her in any way I can.”
Not to mention, Ramona isn’t the only housewife to comment on Jules’ marital struggles. During Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, Sonja Morgan told Andy Cohen:
“I am very surprised. I did speak with Jules, it’s kinda devastating. They’re pretty discrete people, it’s hard it’s hard to take in.”
Oh man. Obviously, Queen Bee Bethenny Frankel had to give her two cents as she blogged about her show’s most recent episode:
“…Jules and Michael are having some trouble in paradise. That I don’t miss, and that I don’t envy. I do “suck at relationships,” but I’d rather be solo than feel like that. Tensions have arisen over there.”
Stay strong, Jules!
