Well this joke was just a terrible idea…
That’s because some Twitter users are currently upset with the Comedy Central satire series following a tasteless abortion joke just hours after the Supreme Court‘s historic women’s health decision.
For those of you who don’t know, SCOTUS voted 5-3 against a sexist law on Monday that essentially prevents the state of Texas from closing women’s clinics.
Unfortunately, the late night comedy show was a little too offensive while celebrating the vote, saying:
There’s a difference between being pro-choice and pro-abortion, y’all.
Luckily, Trevor & Co. quickly realized their mistake, tweeting:

Obviously making jokes about the news is what they do, but come on! Pick a better angle!
