Donald Trump just lost two more campaigners, so clearly things must not be going well for the controversial candidate. Right?
On Thursday, campaign members Erica Freeman and Kevin Kellems, who primarily dealt with supporters defending the reality star & publicly promoting his message, have both resigned from their positions.
Kevin, who had only started working for the celeb on June 20, turned in his letter of resignation after supposedly getting fed up with the dysfunctional way the upper level leadership was running the 70-year-old’s camp.
In his letter, Mr. Kellems wrote:
“While brief, it has been an interesting experience, and am proud of the contributions made through our early-phase project endeavors.”
The aide, who also worked for Newt Gingrich during his 2012 presidential run as well as former VP Dick Cheney, didn’t seem to burn any bridges when he left, writing:
“Also have enjoyed meeting some fine and dedicated individuals throughout the organization. Look forward to running across several of you going forward.”
As for Erica, she had been publicly contradicted by Mr. Trump during a conference call.
Apparently, The Apprentice alum said of Ms. Freeman’s talking points:
“Take that order and throw it the hell out.”
We personally imagine working for such an offensive boss would be miserable, so we aren’t entirely surprised members of his staff are jumping ship.
Our question is, Why so few??
