Kristen Bell is anything other than a Bad Mom!
The blonde beauty prioritizes her two daughters over everything else in her life! In fact, she even told Redbook in their August issue that she doesn’t have any regrets about turning things down to focus on her children.
She told the glossy:
“I don’t let myself feel guilty about not committing to things anymore. How I position it in my head is that I have more of an obligation to my daughters than I do to anybody else.”
The adorable actress even admitted that includes Dax Shepard! While the gorgeous gal revealed she and her husband don’t have the time to take a trip to Bonetown every day, they still make it work by scheduling it in!
Miz Bell confessed:
“We’re pretty decent about staying on top of it. We’ll be like, ‘Okay, it’s been how many days?’ We find a night when nobody is coming over and we don’t have to work super-early in the morning, and then we slot it in.”
And even though she and the 41-year-old have a picture-perfect relationship — have you SEEN that Samsung fridge commercial?! — it wasn’t always this way.
The gorgeous gal says she and her longtime love used to have some pretty big blowouts, explaining:
“We fought a lot and I loved a dramatic exit. If I could slam a door, I felt so powerful. If I could get in my car and screech away, it was even better.”
But she says they’ve learned how to work through the rough patches:
“[Shepard] said to me, ‘If we have an issue, you can’t leave. We’re going to talk or I’m not going to do this with you.’ I loved him so much that I was like, ‘I better get my act together.'”

On Dax getting jealous: “He layers it in comedy. When I get ready for a red-carpet event, he’ll say, ‘Don’t get too confident tonight and think of leaving me!’ I’m like, ‘You’re lucky that nobody at this party is going to be as interesting as you are!'”
On watching Game Of Thrones together: “He would rather I sleep with another man [than watch Game of Thrones without him], I swear to God!”
On being a real mom: “In the age of social media, when you can edit your life in beautiful pictures, it’s important to remind moms that all of us are wearing yogurt and all of our hands smell like urine,” she adds “When you present an unrealistic idea of perfection to people, it’s not fair.”
On advice for other mommas: “Don’t beat yourself up if you feel you’ve chosen wrong,” she shared. “That’s the key part of it. Don’t beat yourself up.”
On setting boundaries with her kids: “Recently I’ve had an epiphany that if I’m as nice to my daughter as I want to be, she’s not going to respect me. Giving your kids strong boundaries is good for them, because if you just let them do whatever they want, you raise a jerk.”
