Rihanna Was In Nice During Deadly France Terror Attack & Rep Confirms ‘She’s Safe’

We're so glad she's okay.

So scary.

On Thursday, a truck plowed into a crowd of people celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, France, killing at least 77. As the terrible tragedy was unfolding, Rihanna was actually in the French Riviera city, where she was scheduled to perform on Friday night.

Fortunately, the singer’s rep has confirmed to Billboard that “she’s safe.”

Following the deadly attack that France President Francois Hollande describes as having “terrorist character,” the artist’s Anti World Tour show at Allianz Stadium has been cancelled.

A Nice official took to Twitter to explain that RiRi’s concert — as well as other events in the city — have been called off in the wake of the devastating assault.

We’re so relieved that Rihanna’s safe, and our hearts are with everyone affected by this senseless act of violence.
