By now, you’ve probably heard Donald Trump has officially found a running mate in Indiana Governor Mike Pence.
He may also be a soulmate for The Donald — as he has also come out for deporting undocumented immigrant children and building a border fence.
But in case the name Mike Pence leaves a bad taste in your mouth but you can’t remember why, he was the man who first signed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act into law in Indiana. You know, the law that allowed businesses to discriminate against LGBT customers on religious grounds?
Pence also voted against same sex marriage, the Employee Non-Discrimination Act, and the repeal of the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy.
