Well, it’s about time Khlo├â┬⌐ Kardashian addressed situation!
In a recent konfessional via her app, Khlo├â┬⌐ talked about her new television project Revenge Body and why her first solo foray into television didn’t work out — aka Kocktails with Khlo├â┬⌐.
Considering K.K. has been pretty vague about why Kocktails was cancelled after just one season, it was inneresting to hear give an explanation for why things didn’t work out. We’ve heard a lot of conflicting reports about the flop — some reports suggested Koko was difficult to work with while others said the reality star wasn’t invested enough to continue.
Now Khloé is clearing the air with an explanation, writing:
“I loved doing Kocktails With Khlo├â┬⌐. The best part was getting to know people. The original idea for the show was to just chill with the guests the same way I do at my house├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥I’m such a hostess. “Kocktails” started moving in a different direction, though, and at the end of the day, it just wasn’t me. They say that if you do something you love, you’ll never work a day in your life. That’s how I feel about filming “Keeping Up” and running the businesses I have with my sisters. Now, when something starts to feel like a job, I feel comfortable enough with myself to say no.”
Hmm… a “different direction”? The show never seemed to stray from the drinks and interview format, but who knows.
For those who feel bad about Khlo’s failed project, you can rest easy because she has already found happiness with Revenge Body:
“My next show, Revenge Body is going to be so much of my own voice, because I’m helping the people on the show through a situation that I went through myself. It’s true to me and it’s true to my journey. I’m so excited for you guys to finally see what I’ve been working on!!!”
Well, we’re curious to see how this one turns out. We hope Ms. Kardashian finds success this time around!
So, do YOU buy the 32-year-old’s story?
