The saga continues!
As you MUST know by now, Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian West are in full on feud mode after the reality star posted a pretty revealing video that seemed to give some more deets on that whole disagreement over Kanye West‘s Famous!
TayTay apparently threatened a legal action against West MONTHS ago demanding that all recordings of their phone call regarding the rapper’s controversial song be destroyed!
Since then, we’ve learned that the Blank Space singer has been thinking about taking the power couple to court over the leaked phone call claiming that she had no idea she was being recorded — something that’s illegal in California!
Just a day ago, it seemed unlikely that the blonde beauty would file a report seeing as how it’s tough to prove whether the Grammy winner knew she was on a conference call, as a call that is overhead is a bit of a loophole. HOWEVER, the 26-year-old apparently still believes that Kanye committed a felony!
What makes this sticky is sources say Tom Hiddleston‘s new lady love had no idea that Yeezy had her on speaker, despite other voices in the room from West’s camera crew and producer Rick Rubin. If the songstress did NOT know that Kim’s hubby put her on speaker phone, then he would have had to ask permission to record her — but we think this is going to be near impossible to prove either way.
If that’s not enough of a call out, Tay is apparently also ready to have the FULL recording released as she believes Kardashian was VERY selective in what she shared. Insiders added that the 1989 artist wants everyone to finally hear that Ye NEVER said he’d call her a “bitch” during the track.
Two other points of contention with Swift are that she believes that Kanye was deceptive by making the song sound lighthearted AND he never sent her an advance copy. Though those are certainly valid points, we’re not sure we remember the last West song we’d label “lighthearted”. LOLz!
What do you think of Swift taking legal action against the entertainment goliath couple?!
