Would we expect anything less?!
As the number of women accusing former FOX News CEO Roger Ailes of sexual harassment and sexual abuse continues to climb (that number is up to more than two dozen right now, FYI), Donald Trump has swooped in to defend the scandalous TV news exec.
Speaking to Meet The Press in an interview that aired on Sunday morning, Trump told host Chuck Todd about Ailes and the sexual harassment scandal, saying of the TV exec:
“He’s been a friend of mine for a long time. And I can tell you that some of the women that are complaining, I know how much he’s helped them. And even recently. And when they write books that are fairly recently released, and they say wonderful things about him. And now all of a sudden they’re saying these horrible things about him. It’s very sad. I’ve always found him to be just a very, very good person. And a very, very talented person.”
Why are we not surprised that, even after REPEATED horrific allegations against Ailes, Trump would stand by his man.
