Well that’s certainly one way to blow your money — and your future!
Back in February of 2015, Ronnie Music Jr. was considered one of the luckiest men alive after winning $3 million in a Georgia Lottery scratch off game — but it looks like his luck’s run out!
That’s because Music could face, well the music, after he recently pleaded guilty to using some of his millions he won to invest in a crystal meth operation! YIKES!
Last week, Ronnie admitted to federal drug and gun charges when U.S. attorneys provided evidence that appeared to show he “conspired with others to possess and distribute kilograms of methamphetamine.”
The Department of Justice released details in a statement saying:
“The investigation revealed that in September, 2015, Music’s co-conspirators were caught attempting to sell approximately 11 pounds of crystal meth, with a street value in excess of $500,000.”
The case gets even more intense as it was revealed that federal agents seized over $1 million in meth, a MASSIVE amount of firearms, along with thousands of rounds of ammunition, several vehicles, and over $600,000 in cash!
U.S. Attorney Ed Tarver explained Music’s disturbing case:
“Music decided to test his luck by sinking millions of dollars of lottery winnings into the purchase and sale of crystal meth. As a result of his unsound investment strategy, [he] now faces decades in a federal prison.”
We guess that should teach Ronnie to leave the drug business to fictional middle-aged science teachers who need money for cancer treatment.
