On Sunday, the onePULSE Foundation shared that they will be raising money so that Pulse nightclub can create a memorial in honor of the people whose lives were senselessly taken in the horrific act of violence on June 12.
The gay club’s official nonprofit took to Facebook to share their plans, posting:
onePULSE initially announced the memorial endeavor earlier in July, writing:
But the new reminder came 49 days after the 49 victims were killed, because the gay club itself also used social media to remember those who were taken too soon on the sentimental day, sharing a black-and-white photo of the current memorial (above).
They captioned the emotional photo:
“49 Days since we lost 49 Beautiful Angels. No words will ever describe how heartbroken our community is. ├óΓé¼┬¬#├óΓé¼┼╜neverforget├óΓé¼┬¼ ├óΓé¼┬¬#├óΓé¼┼╜onepulse├óΓé¼┬¼├óΓé¼┬¬#├óΓé¼┼╜orlandounited├óΓé¼┬¼ ├óΓé¼┬¬#├óΓé¼┼╜oneorlando├óΓé¼┬¼”
A date hasn’t been set yet for the memorial’s grand reveal, but you can text “PULSE” to 91999 to donate.
