How are these people even getting hired in the first place?!

It’s no secret America currently has a problem with law enforcement being too trigger-happy, and the latest incident of Police Brutality does not help the matter.

That’s because officers in New Jersey just shot a 76-year-old man THREE TIMES after responding to a 911 call… at the wrong house!

Two officers in Cumberland County, N.J., thought they were protecting and/or serving their community when they approached Gerald Sykes‘ home on Friday night after an emergency caller failed to leave an address.

Naturally, the innocent man immediately assumed the two men nearing his house’s rear entrance were burglars… so he grabbed his shotgun and went downstairs.

That’s when the state troopers noticed the firearm, and proceeded to fire four shots through the living room’s glass sliding door — hitting Gerald three times!

Gerald’s daughter Diana Lafalce retold his side of the story to reporters once he woke up at the hospital, saying:

“His eyes got big as saucers and he said, ‘What? Those were state troopers? They never game me a warning. They shot me without even a warning.'”

It’s worth noting that the elderly man did graze one of the cops… but that was allegedly only after he was already shot, bleeding out on the floor.

Luckily, Gerald managed to survive his THREE BULLET WOUNDS and is currently nursing a collapsed lung as well as a ruptured groin.

Seems to us, these people deserve to be fired… but they’ll probably just get paid administrative leave instead.

What do YOU think??
