Jay Pharoah Finally Breaks His Silence After Surprise SNL Firing… But Is He Hinting At Behind-The-Scenes Drama?!

no title

Live from New York it’s… only three of the cast?

Television viewers were modestly shocked on Tuesday when it was announced that both Taran Killam and Jay Pharoah had been unceremoniously fired from Saturday Night Live after six years on the late night sketch show.

Not only were they arguably the two most talented male players in the cast, but they’re also two of the most featured comedians… which means Lorne Michaels must have something big planned for Season 42 to replace them…

While Taran addressed his sudden departure shortly after the NBC news broke, Jay remained suspiciously quiet all day long — as did fellow axed actor Jon Rudnitsky, but he was still new, so…

Luckily, the Barack Obama impersonator finally referenced his termination in an Instagram post on Wednesday alongside Taran and Vanessa Bayer… but is he subtly placing blame on some of his other castmates??

J, T, and V all joined SNL together in 2010, so it makes sense that he’d capture their pic “My fam for life ├░┼╕╦£┼á├░┼╕╦£┼á├░┼╕╦£┼á.”

However, we can’t help but feel like this could potentially be a slight dig towards some of the other veteran repertory players NOT pictured; such as, say, Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant, and Cecily Strong, perhaps?!

Regardless, we’ll miss them both when Saturday Night Live returns for Season 42 this October on NBC.

Do U think there’s some behind-the-scenes drama going on within the SNL cast? And will more join Taran and Jay??
