Liv Tyler Has A Refreshing Take On Post-Baby Bodies!

Liv Tyler is talking serious stuff to mommies out there!

The mother of three kiddos — who gave birth most recently to Lula Rose last month — told People magazine that she believes moms are too hard on themselves when it comes to shedding the baby weight:

“Just be kind to yourself. Everyone is different. Everyone’s body is different, everyone’s birth experience is different. Some people’s body type is that they totally look normal right after [birth], and [for] others, it takes many months.”

The Lord of the Rings alum also notes there are more important things in life such as prioritizing precious moments with your little ones:

“But I think it’s best to focus on your health and the health of your baby and bonding.”

Additionally, she does offer up some wardrobe tips to those new moms who are gradually returning to daily life postpartum:

“Beautiful cotton or silk pajamas ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ loose things where you can’t see my belly too much because it’s that transitional period [where] I don’t think people can tell if you’re pregnant or you’re just chubby.”
