The saga continues!
A security guard who confronted the swimmer and his teammates is jumping on board against him now, too!
The 34-year-old security guard, who spoke to reporters under the condition of anonymity, confirmed that Lochte, Gunnar Bentz, Jack Conger, and Jimmy Feigen were NOT robbed at gunpoint at the gas station in question!
The guard was the one at the gas station involved in that altercation with Lochte which police believe the swimmer tried to cover up with the robbery ruse.
The guard told Us Weekly:
“These guys came here causing trouble but we did not touch them at all. There was never any physical contact. I only showed my gun. I did not order them to lay down on the floor and the gun was certainly not pointed in anyone’s face. Everything that took place that evening was within the rights of the law.”
Of course, Lochte’s teammates have now come clean about the fact that they lied about the robbery itself — so that would seem to push this guard’s quotes into the legitimate corner, and keep Lochte’s story… well, not so legit.
And yet Lochte is still sticking to it!!
