Justin Bieber’s V Festival Performance Ripped Apart By Fans After Singer Admits To Being ‘A Little Hungover’ For The Show

Justin Bieber was headlining the V Festival at Chelmsford, Essex, UK this weekend — a big deal that ended up being the singer’s biggest British show since his Believe tour back in 2013 — but things did not quite go as planned along the way!

Of course, the night before, the Biebs was out partying in a London club — with a mystery blonde (!) — so it sounds like a late night is what did him in, considering the singer admitted it on stage, saying to the 75,000 people in attendance:

“I’m having the best night, although I’m a little hungover.”

Scathing reviews of the Saturday night show absolutely ripped up Justin’s performance, though, with writers and those in attendance accusing him of lip-syncing his songs, and putting together an entirely lackluster outing for the expectant crowd.

At times, the Biebs was booed and heckled by fans, too!!

For his part, he saw it one way, tweeting later (below):

Others, though, saw his set a little bit differently (below):

A review in The Telegraph absolutely tore Bieber apart, too, with the writer noting (below):

“The man who sold out Madison Square Garden aged 18 was lackadaisical and distant here. His most verbose moment during the turgid 90-minute set saw him listing the different fast food vans he could see around the festival site, as people heckled him. At times it was difficult to establish whether Bieber was actually singing; he spent a lot of time with his back to the crowd and the volume of his featherlight vocals didn’t change regardless of the increasing distance between his mouth and the microphone. But mostly it was clear that he wasn’t: he held the mic down by his side, mouthing the lyrics as he stared blankly at the crowd.”

Sounds like a less-than-inspiring show… or maybe just an off night?!

Regardless, we can only hope things get better soon for the Biebs — he’s certainly had a difficult time in general recently!
