Amy Schumer has ZERO interest in dealing with fake friends!
On Tuesday, the Trainwreck star stopped by Howard Stern‘s Sirius XM radio show and opened up about her disdain for “networking” in Tinseltown. Ooh, juicy… go on!
In a candid sit down, the blonde beauty dished to Stern:
“That is my worst nightmare├óΓé¼┬ª That’s disgusting. It’s just so fake. It’s people doing an impression of having a conversation.”
On her encounter with the Sorry singer, the Inside Amy Schumer creator quipped:
“She was like, ├óΓé¼╦£Is this your first Met Gala?’ and I was like, ├óΓé¼╦£It’s my last.'”
HIGHlarious! And it seems the 35-year-old has some serious expectations for the company she keeps. She continued:
“I’m not trying to make lots of celebrity friends. The people that I care about, I gotta keep it so real with them. I can’t be like, ├óΓé¼╦£Yeah, I really like this girl. Me and Taylor Swift, we just hit it off├óΓé¼┬ª I’m part of that world now.'”
Nonetheless, that doesn’t mean the funny lady isn’t friends with people in Hollywood — she just isn’t looking to force any connections. We mean, who needs forced friendships when you’ve got A-list bestiez like Jennifer Lawrence, Lena Dunham, Louis C.K., Chris Rock, etc?
Be sure to listen to Amy’s words on the subject for yourself (below)!
