This has Grammy-material written all over it!
Luckily, we’re only about two months away from listening to his ninth studio set, Nobody But Me, and he apparently enlisted some pretty impressive peers for the project.
In fact, we’re hearing the new album will feature Michael’s first ever original song that he didn’t have a hand in writing… and it just so happened to be penned by none other than Harry Styles and Meghan Trainor!
Michael spoke to ET Canada about the duet — which will also feature Meghan’s vocals — on Thursday, revealing the song’s title Someday, saying:
“For the first time ever I’ve recorded an original that I didn’t write. It’s written by Meghan Trainor and Harry Styles. I know that sounds mind-blowing to people, but they’re talented; they wrote a song that I fell in love with, and that was it. I was going to set my ego aside and I was going to do what’s best for the record.
[Meghan’s] a great singer and entertainer. What they may not know is what an incredible writer she is, what an incredible musician she is, the fact that she’s a bad-ass producer. She’s probably the most talented 21-year-old in the world.”
That sure is some high praise!
Will U be checking out Nobody But Me when it drops internationally on October 21??
