Taylor Swift Dismissed From Jury Duty In Sexual Assault Case & Here’s Why

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift‘s day as Mariska Hargitay has come to an end as the 26-year-old singer was dismissed from jury duty.

As we told you, Tay Tay showed up to serve her civic duty in Nashville on Monday morning, but now we’re hearing she was later dismissed from an aggravated rape/kidnapping case because of her own lawsuit against former radio host David Mueller.

You may recall the pop princess was sued for slander by the DJ, who claims he was fired from his job after he was wrongfully accused of grabbing the superstar’s butt at a meet-and-greet before a 2013 concert. This prompted the singer to countersue the Denver radio personality for sexual assault and battery.

According to TMZ, Tom Hiddleston‘s girlfriend was questioned about any possible bias she may have regarding a case involving a man who allegedly kidnapped and raped a woman with a broom handle (OMG!) — and since her pending case involves sexual assault, T. Swift can not remain impartial as a juror.

Makes sense!

At least her fellow jurors got some epic selfies?!
