For a recent chat with People, the KUWTK star opened up about his love for Chyna and everything she’s done for him recently. The sock mogul dished:

“She got me through my darkest times. I wasn’t happy in my own skin. I missed out on so many things.”

As you surely know, the reality TV vet has been relatively MIA from the limelight these past few years as he has reportedly struggled with depression. Not to mention, R.K.’s rapid weight gain and diabetes diagnosis also squashed his desire to live his life in front of the cameras.

So… how did Rob go from being the reclusive Kardashian to falling in love with B.C. and preparing for a new TV show?

On his romance with Chyna, Kris Jenner‘s son explained:

“I’ve been friends with Chyna for a long time. She was someone I reached out to for advice. She would cook for me and we’d just talk. She’s surrounded me with a lot of positivity. From the moment we met, I knew I wanted to be more than friends.”

Aww! And it seems the key to winning Rob’s heart was simply letting him be himself. In regards to her relationship with Kardashian, the pregnant starlet noted:

“I saw Rob was willing to better himself. I had never wanted to be tough. I never wanted to change him.”

Tissues, anyone? Although, while Miz Chyna didn’t try to change Rob, she certainly did motivate him as her man added:

“Chyna definitely motivates me. Being with her got me over the insecurity of being out in public.”

Now that’s what we like to hear! While Mr. Kardashian still has a lot of things he wants to work on, he seems pretty excited about the future as he concluded:

“We just want to live our lives the way we want to. There were definitely dark days for me, and I’m still not fully happy looking at myself in the mirror. But I’m working towards that. And I’m happy.”

AH-Mazing! Be sure to tune into Rob & Chyna when it premieres on September 11 at 9 p.m. ET on E!
