NFL Broadcaster Calling The Play-By-Play Of A Fan Running Onto The Field Is The Funniest Thing You’ll See Today! Watch!

You don’t know his name, but maybe now you should: Kevin Harlan is truly a national treasure for this.

Harlan, a television and radio play-by-play announcer for NFL football and other sports, was doing the Westwood One radio broadcast for last night’s Monday Night Football game between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams when a moment came and vaulted him into viral fame.

Early in the fourth quarter of the game, with San Francisco leading 21-0, a fan ran out on to the field.

Now on TV, when this happens, the show’s producers will cut away from the action and the broadcasters will talk about the game — the thought being that, hey, if they don’t talk about it, then other fans won’t be encouraged to do it.

But on his radio show last night, Harlan decided not to follow those rules — and the result is an INCREDIBLE call of the man’s lap around the field!

Ch-ch-check out the clip of Harlan describing the drunk man’s run, synced up to the TV feed from the game, below:

OH. EM. GEE!!!

That is too funny!!

Question: is there a new business opportunity here? Like, people hiring play-by-play broadcasters to narrate everyday activities like trips to the grocery store or the bank?!

Something like, “she’s at the 50… the 40… the 30… she DEPOSITS THE CHECK!”

We need this at our next party! Ha!!
