Body Shaming Playboy Model Dani Mathers Reaches Out And Then Backs Away From Helping Anti-Cyber Bullying Group

This is a weird story, even for Dani Mathers.

Remember her?! She was the former Playboy model who earlier this year body shamed a poor, unsuspecting woman at her gym, setting off a firestorm of controversy in the ensuing months.

Now, she’s back in the news because of something she didn’t do… but probably should have.

On Saturday, TMZ reported that Mathers had previously reached out to an anti-cyber bullying group about doing a good deed of some sort with them to help fight against bullying online.

The group, called Cure The Hate, was ecstatic — except that when it came time to do real, actual work, Dani disappeared.

After reaching out to Dani SEVEN TIMES, and never hearing anything back, the group realized that Mathers’ actions were just in response to the fact that she might be facing criminal charges, and not, you know, something done out of the goodness of her heart.

Interestingly, just as the media is starting to turn up the heat on this story, word has it that Mathers finally did reach out to Cure The Hate on Friday afternoon, only to tell them that no, she decided not to volunteer with them after all.

It’s been a tough few months for Miz Mathers, but in this instance just as previously, it sure seems like she’s bringing it all upon herself.
