Jeffrey Tambor SHUTS DOWN The Cut-Off Music After Winning Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series At The 2016 Emmys!

That’s two in a row for Jeffrey Tambor!

On Sunday, the acclaimed actor took home the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series at the 2016 Emmys for the second year in a row!

The 72-year-old received the honor for his work as Maura Pfefferman on Transparent, but the Amazon star was also up against some stiff competition.

The California native beat out Anthony Anderson (black-ish), Aziz Ansari (Master of None), Will Forte (The Last Man on Earth), William H. Macy (Shameless), and Thomas Middleditch (Silicon Valley).

The Arrested Development alum even acknowledged how talented his fellow nominees are, saying in his speech:

“There is no best actor, alright?”

And, he also shut down the producers, when they tried to play the cut-off music while he was speaking! The celeb shushed the orchestra so he could emotionally exclaim:

“Please give transgender talent a chance.”
