The Weeknd References Brad Pitt In NSFW New Single Starboy Featuring Daft Punk — Listen!

no title

Just hours after The Weeknd announced the title and artwork for his new album — and showed off his new hair — we already have the first single!

The Grammy winning artist dropped the self-titled track titled Starboy off his upcoming album late Wednesday, and it’s definitely worth a listen. Sure, it’s no I Can’t Feel My Face, but we think the catchy tune will definitely grow on us! Not to mention it features Daft Punk!

Interestingly enough, the 26-year-old coincidentally references Brad Pitt‘s epic year in 1994 in which he starred in The Legends of The Fall and Interview with the Vampire, AND was nominated for a Golden Globe!

The shoutout comes when the R&B artist sings:

“Let a n***a Brad Pitt,
Legend of the fall took the year like a bandit.”

Whether the song was released in time to take advantage of Pitt and Angelina Jolie‘s divorce news is unknown, but it certainly seems possible!

Ch-ch-check out the NSFW track (below) and let us know what you think!

If you want the song for yourself, you can snag it on iTunes!

Make sure you keep your eyes peeled for The Weeknd’s new album when it’s expected to drop November 25!
