Ryan Lochte’s DWTS Protesters Have Been Charged For Storming The Stage!

no title

Well, it’s been about two weeks since protesters stormed the stage during Ryan Lochte‘s critique on Dancing With The Stars season premiere, and it looks like they’re actually getting charged.

Earlier this month, 59-year-old Sam Sotoodeh and 25-year-old Barzeen Soroudi interrupted the star-studded competition to criticize the athlete for lying about getting robbed at gunpoint during the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

And, while the relatives weren’t even slightly violent when they climbed onto the stage, People has confirmed the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office filed criminal complaints against them on Monday.

Both Sam and Barzeen are being slapped with two misdemeanors, including leaving a spectator area and entering upon a stage, and interfering with a performance.

The men are slated to be arraigned on October 4. If they’re found guilty, the demonstrators could spend up to six months in jail AND have to cough up a $1,000 fine.

Oof. Seems a little steep, considering they were peacefully protesting. But what do U think?! SOUND OFF in the comments!
