We can’t wait to hear Donald Trump‘s take on this!

On Wednesday, Saturday Night Live announced Alec Baldwin will play the coveted role of Donald for the show’s October 1 premiere.

Considering Baldwin is an outspoken liberal and consistent guest-host of the series (16 times!), it looks like Lorne Michaels made the perfect casting decision! We can’t wait to see the 58-year-old mimic the politician’s ridiculous hand gestures — and now sniffles!

Similar to Larry David‘s stint as Bernie Sanders, the actor will appear as Drumpf for a few episodes throughout the season. While the celeb has taken on a variety of impressions for SNL before (Al Pacino, Bono, Marlon Brando), this will be his first time taking on Trump. Previously former cast member and current announcer Darrell Hammond portrayed him.

Following the exciting news, the show shared a HIGHlarious teaser featuring Donald’s running mate Hillary Clinton AKA Kate McKinnon.

Ha! Everything about this looks amazing!

But wait, the sketchy goodness doesn’t stop there!

On Wednesday SNL also announced two new hosts for the 42nd season — Lin-Manuel Miranda (October 8) and Emily Blunt (October 15)!

Excitingly, neither star has ever hosted before! Including Margot Robbie on October 1, that’s three newbies in a row to start the season!

Check out Lin-Manuel’s humble reaction to the news (below)!

Don’t worry Mr. Miranda, we know you’ll do fabulously! Let’s just say we have YUGE expectations for this season!

So, what are YOUR thoughts on all this casting news?
