If at first you don’t succeed, audition for The Voice again!
At least that’s what worked for Nolan Neal, who didn’t turn a single chair in Season 10├óΓé¼┬ª but absolutely BLEW AWAY the judges during his second blind audition on Tuesday night!
After the performance, Nolan told Adam that he auditioned the previous season but wasn’t picked — though the Maroon 5 frontman told him if he re-auditioned with a different song he would “win the show” (as long as he picked Adam as a coach, obvi)!
But the rocker was far from the only auditioner to impress the coaches…
Enter Halle Tomlinson, 18-year-old former child actor of Barney & Friends fame who managed to put some serious sultry stank on Billy Joel‘s New York State of Mind!
Though the performance only got Adam and Alicia to turn around their chairs, Miley and Blake admitted they didn’t turn around because the song choice definitely fell under the territory of the Empire State of Mind songstress. (Alicia knows all about that concrete jungle where dreams are made of.)
Another auditioner who the coaches fought over was young mother Simone Gundy, who had Adam and Miley in a heated lockdown after her chilling performance of Shirley Bassey‘s I (Who Have Nothing)!
Ch-ch-check out all three show-stopping performances (below) to see which coaches the singers picked!
