At 90 years old, concern for Hugh Hefner‘s health have began to circulate as the Playboy founder’s weight has reportedly plummeted — and people are supposedly having to sign confidentiality agreements to keep his failing health quiet.
A source explains to Page Six:
“He looks like he is down to around 90├óΓé¼ΓÇ░pounds and super sick. His people are really trying to keep this under wraps. You even have to sign a confidentiality agreement to go up to see him.”
We hate hearing this, if true!
It is kind of odd, though — Hef hasn’t been seen in public for months and hasn’t been as active on social media as he usually is (last posting on August 27 promoting a party he didn’t even attend).
We will note, however, his 30-year-old wife Crystal Hefner has been off gallivanting in Paris as of late… so we’d like to think if something was seriously wrong, she’d be by the mogul’s side.
As you may have heard, the magazine editor recently sold his Playboy Mansion for upwards of $100 million to business mogul Daren Metropoulos, who reportedly said the Chicago native can live in the estate for the rest of his life, however long that may be.
Hugh’s reps maintain that the businessman is doing just fine, especially for his age:
“Hugh Hefner is fine. It is no secret that over the past few years he has suffered with back pain that has made it a bit more challenging for him to get around, but at 90 years of age he is enjoying his life and still very involved in the day-to-day activities of editing the magazine.”
That’s good to hear!
After a long life in the spotlight, we think it’s totally understandable if Hef wants to skip all the red carpet events to watch old movies and go to sleep early! Prayers up!
