Our hearts are just breaking for Wisin and his wife Yomaira Ortiz Feliciano.
On Friday, the Nota de Amor artist took to Instagram to confirm the passing of his one month old daughter Victoria. Oh, how awful.
On his devastating loss, the Puerto Rican-born musician wrote:
“Thank you, my God, for one month of life, for one month of Victoria. God gives, and God takes away, blessed be the name of the Lord. Princess Victoria, I will see you again in heaven. What immense pain I have, God, please help me. I want to use this moment to thank the millions of people that were praying for our family and our Victoria. Thank you because in all of your gestures and words that you had with us we were able to see God each time. My princess just died.”

We can’t even imagine the heartache Wisin and his family are currently experiencing. The couple are also parents to two other children, named Dylan and Yelena.
Shortly after little Victoria’s birth, the industry vet shared with Lo S├â┬⌐ Todo that his newborn was born with the genetic disorder of trisomy 13. What a tough break!
At the time, the songwriter revealed his wife was struggling with depression over their little one’s condition. He noted:
“We’re going through a difficult moment. It’s things that happen.”
As you may know, this particular genetic disorder can cause a series of birth defects — including issues with almost everyone organ in the body and a severe intellectual disability.
Oh man. We’re certainly thinking about Wisin and his brood during this very hard time.
