Gavin Rossdale is ready to move past his divorce drama!
Although it’s been over a year since the No Doubt singer and the Bush frontman called it quits on their marriage, the English musician is still getting asked about his highly publicized divorce. Shocking? No. Frustrating for Gavin? Sure.
During a chat with The Sunday Times, Rossdale expressed exactly how he felt about getting questioned on his past relationship with the mother of his kiddos. The 50-year-old dished:
“It’s like enough already. I’ve got to move on. Everyone has got to move on. For me, it’s just thinking about the boys and how to prioritize them.”
Fair, fair. However, we can’t really blame the public for wanting to know more about Gavin’s life sans Gwen as the twosome’s marriage imploded over his alleged affair with their children’s nanny. Oof.
The rock veteran continued:
“That’s the driving force behind everything. You just have to … I don’t know. Somehow you have to put one foot after the other and make it happen.”
Well at least the Forever May You Run artist is getting his life back on track, especially since his ex wife has moved on with The Voice‘s Blake Shelton. And speaking of the singing competition, it was revealed back in September that Gavin would be trying his hand at coaching — but for the U.K. version of the TV show.
Thankfully, it’s said Gwen and Gavin are committed to raising their three kids together in a positive environment. So maybe Gwen, Blake, Gavin, and the little ones can all be one big happy family down the line? Oh, we hope so!
