It might be too soon to tell, but French authorities may have a break in Kim Kardashian West‘s robbery investigation.
As you know, the 35-year-old was held at gunpoint in her Paris apartment as masked thieves stole million of dollars worth of jewelry, including the reality star’s $4 million ring.
In the latest news on the formally-opened investigation, French authorities are testing “several DNA traces” found at the scene of the crime, in hopes the new evidence will lead them to the robbers, according to AFP.
The investigators are also looking into possible DNA from Kimmy’s stolen cross pendant that was recovered just blocks away from the No Address Hotel.
A police source explained:
“The DNA is actually in the process of being exploited. No DNA has been found at this stage of the investigations on a pendant set with diamonds, found in the street near the scene of the robbery a few hours after the robbery.”
As a side note, this scandal is the largest jewelry robbery against an individual to happen in France in the last 20 years… Whoa!
Fingers crossed they can find something substantial soon!
