Lena Dunham has been putting her focus on some other projects since she said farewell to Girls a couple weeks ago, including adding some new tats to her growing collection!
On Sunday, the actress and Lenny Letter founder debuted the ink to Instagram, one of which is a touch up of a decade-old tattoo (above).
She captioned the pic, writing:
“Ferdinand restored to his original pacifist glory… This was definitely the coolest thing I did at age 19.”
Sounds like she was feeling nostalgic when she visited Robert Bonhomme of Brooklyn Tattoo for the artwork!
The 30-year-old also revealed a new neon tattoo dedicated to NYC restaurant, The Odeon (below):
And because I’m an officially deranged daughter of TriBeCa, the Odeon neon sign now lives on my ass for life ├░┼╕┬ì┬╜A photo posted by Lena Dunham (@lenadunham) on Oct 15, 2016 at 11:34pm PDT
That is one hard-to-miss tattoo!!
AND because one new piece of art wasn’t enough, she also paid tribute to “legend” skateboarder Laura Thornhill Caswell, who is riding the scar from her endometriosis surgery:
Very satisfying evening getting my (decade old!) tats touched up by my good friend @rbrtbnhm at Brooklyn Tattoo. He added this new one, a @langleyfox illustration of living legend @laurathornhillcaswell. Cuz sometimes I really need a reminder that we came here to rip shit up… Plz note she’s riding one of my Endo scars ├░┼╕╦£┬ì├░┼╕Γäó┬Å├░┼╕ΓÇÖ┬╕A photo posted by Lena Dunham (@lenadunham) on Oct 15, 2016 at 11:20pm PDT
