Zayn Malik Actually Has GOOD Things To Say About One Direction In His New Book!

What an interesting change of tune!

As we all know, Zayn Malik hasn’t held back while talking about his time in One Direction, even admitting that he never wanted to be a part of the boy band in the first place!

After quitting the group, the UK artist was also very open about how much he hated the songs he sang alongside Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson.

But now, the singer just revealed a major plot twist in a new excerpt of his tell-all memoir, Zayn.

After repeatedly bashing the guy group that made him, you know, FAMOUS, the 23-year-old surprisingly had some good things to say in this part of the story of his life, obtained by Teen Vogue.

Gigi Hadid‘s boyfriend gushed:

“I can honestly say I’m proud of a lot of stuff from the One Direction days. I’m not sure people realize that, but I am. I’ve got the memorabilia ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ the platinum discs we received with every album ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ all over my house. I have a wall dedicated to displaying them. One Direction was an incredible experience in its own right, and it’s a part of me, an integral part of my history, and I’m never going to deny that aspect of my life.”

Pardon our French, but where the f*ck did this come from?!?

Zayn really hasn’t said anything positive about the X Factor group that literally created his career, so we’re very curious about this sudden change of heart.

However, it’s possible the brunette babe’s faithful fans reminded the songsmith of just how lucky he is, because he also confessed:

“I got to meet amazing fans, and I can never thank all of them enough for the love and support they gave me during the good times, and the bad.”

Is this excerpt simply the calm before the storm?! Is Zayn actually just gearing up to dish MAJOR dirt on 1D?! We don’t know if we can wait until the tell-all’s November 1 release date to find out!
