Policewoman From New Reality Show Arrested For Domestic Dispute — Just HOURS After The Premiere!

Ugh, a cop should know better!

A police officer from Bridgeport, Connecticut was arrested after getting in a domestic dispute with her ex-boyfriend over the weekend.

What’s worse, Sergeant Stacey Lyons had just made her debut on A&E‘s new Live PD reality show!

For those not in the know, the show follows six police departments across the country as they deal with the daily ongoings of law enforcement. It’s basically Cops with fewer drunk, shirtless guys.

Following the series premiere last Friday, Sgt. Lyons was taken into custody for allegedly assaulting her ex after discovering him with another woman.

Per reports, Stacey was able to get into her former flame’s home by using his security code. The officer then went on to allegedly shove and hit her ex which left him with minor injuries.

What’s especially crazy about this story is how Lyons’ cameo on Live PD depicted her response to a domestic dispute.

As Stacey drove to the scene of a man allegedly choking his girlfriend, she referred to domestic violence incidents as “the most dangerous calls a police officer can go on.”

Ah, the sad irony.

As of now, Stacey has been placed on administrative leave while she prepares to face disorderly conduct charges on November 16.

You can watch the officer’s appearance on the show starting at the 44:00 mark (below):
