Don’t expect to hear Michael Bubl├â┬⌐ singing this holiday season.

Why, you may ask? Well, during an interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada on Thursday, the Haven’t Met You Yet singer’s pal David Foster revealed Michael “will not sing again until his child is well”. Oh man.

As you surely know, the 41-year-old’s oldest son with wife Luisana Lopilato, named Noah, has been diagnosed with liver cancer. And according to reports, the tiny tot has already started chemotherapy, which is scheduled to last for four months.

So it’s no wonder the Grammy winner is simply focusing on his three-year-old’s treatment and recovery right now. Yolanda Hadid‘s ex went on to reveal that Michael is currently “in a huge bubble” as he continues to deal with his son’s illness. Foster explained:

“When this happens, everything shuts down around you. You go inside your little bubble and I don’t think he’s looking at social media. I’m sure he feels the love from the millions of people.”

Oh, we hope so!

Thankfully David, who has known Michael since 2000 when he signed him to his record label, had some good news to share about little Noah’s treatment. Apparently, Revlon‘s Ron Perelman and actress Marlo Thomas (whose father founded St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital) have reached out to the Canadian-born artist with offers to help his son.

But how is the toddler currently doing? David noted:

“He’s in good shape. He’s got good doctors around him. We will hope and pray for a good outcome, which I believe that they will have.”

Now that’s what we like to hear! We’re wishing the Bubl├â┬⌐ family only the best as they fight Noah’s cancer together.
