ICYMI: Emmy Rossum Calls Out Nazi Donald Trump Supporter’s WWII-Inspired Death Threats On Twitter — ‘This Is Not Okay’!

no title

Donald Trump told his racist supports to “stop” being racist lunatics in his recent 60 Minutes interview, but it might be too late to call off the lynch mob.

After last week’s election, minorities nationwide have reported being terrorized by backers of the President-elect, whose win has seemed to awaken the racist underbelly of society.

The latest victim of the surge in ethnocentrism is Emmy Rossum, who received disgusting anti-Semitic messages on Twitter from a Trump supporter “threatening to send me and my ‘ilk’ to the gas chambers.”

Over the weekend, the Shameless star shared a series of tweets detailing the awful messages, which included a reference to WWII concentration camp trains.

The actress, who is Jewish, posted:

So awful!

The 30-year-old, who is a vocal Hillary Clinton supporter, made a point to say these hate-filled threats are NOT okay regardless of political affiliation, continuing:

We applaud the actress for standing up to this type of hate.

While not every Trump supporter is a racist nut job (we hope!), this vocal group needs to be shut down any time they spew out hate-filled venom like this.
