Donald Trump’s Daughters ‘Won’t Let Him’ Outlaw Abortion, Says Lawyer Responsible For Roe V. Wade

Well, Dr. Sarah Weddington must have a lot of faith…

In a conversation with TMZ on Thursday, the lawyer responsible for Roe V. Wade tried to assure concerned Americans Donald Trump will NOT overturn the abortion rights law — thanks to his daughters Ivanka and Tiffany Trump.

The bold statement from Weddington comes on the heels of Donald’s 60 Minutes interview in which he suggested some women might have to cross “state lines” to receive abortions.

For those not in the know, the 1973 Supreme Court decision legalized abortion in the first trimester of pregnancy. For decades, the law has been hailed as a monumental victory for pro-choice women and their allies.

Given the fact Vice President-elect Mike Pence swore to overturn the law, supporters are more terrified than ever of what’s to come in the next four years.

So, could Ivanka and Tiffany really be our saviors in this mess?

According to the Roe V. Wade attorney, it’s a distinct possibility. She says:

“Trump has been somebody that’s had different positions on this issue at different times, and he’s got enough female children that are very strong. I can’t imagine them letting the law be overturned.”

Hmm, we’re not so sure about this statement. It seems like Ivanka is too busy peddling bracelets to care about pivotal legislation… not to mention we can’t recall Tiffany ever expressing an interest in politics.

Sadly, Weddington did admit if the administration gets just two Supreme Court appointments, it very well could have the power to overturn the law.

As for what our real worry should be, the attorney argues we should look to our new VP:

“I tend to worry more about Pence because he’s been absolutely against Roe v. Wade as long as I can remember, and because [├óΓé¼┬ª] I think in some ways he’ll be the key person on legislation for Trump.”

In regards to what will happen if women are forced to travel to receive abortions, she explained:

“Trump is basically saying, ‘Well, then women will have to move across state lines to get the services they need.’ So, that means there’s going to have to be a lot of organization to try to have the money that women without funds are going to need to get places where they can get services.”

Well, it sounds like the people have a lot of work to do. At least these election results have inspired some Americans to fight for each other!

So, what do YOU think about the lawyer’s statements??
