Ashton Kutcher is obviously a huge fan of Airbnb, for more reasons than one!
Not only is the 38-year-old an investor in the company, but he also admitted to relying on the homestay network for providing him with a place to live for a year following his divorce from Demi Moore.
As you know, the Jobs star and the 54-year-old were married from 2005 to 2013 — and at the Airbnb Open 2016 in Los Angeles on Saturday, Kutcher said the kindness he was shown after his breakup from complete strangers really helped him cope.
The Killers actor said:
“Right after I got divorced ├óΓé¼┬ª I didn’t have a house. So I just started living in Airbnbs.”
He went on to tell his friend and Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky one particular story:
“I went to Europe and I flew in and got in in the middle of the night. I arrived at the Airbnb at 2 a.m. The person had left me dinner and a glass of wine. It was ├óΓé¼┬ª the magic and the love that I needed in that moment. I was shocked that someone would care that much about a total stranger.”
Everything always has a way of working out!
