Trouble On E Street! Bruce Springsteen & His Guitarist Take Opposing Sides Of Hamilton v. Pence!

no title

Bruce Springsteen wants to live in the same USA he was born in!

The rock star is no stranger to weighing in on political controversies, and he’s supporting freedom of speech in the best way possible — by going to see Hamilton!

In case you somehow missed it, the cast of the Broadway hit took to the stage after their curtain call on Friday night to address Mike Pence, who was in the audience.

While the Vice President-elect didn’t seem to mind receiving the polite yet stern message, Donald Trump scolded the cast on Twitter for harassing his second hand man.

All about that first amendment, Springsteen supported the cast by seeing a Sunday matinee with his wife Patti Scialfa, who shared a selfie on Instagram with the caption:

“Raise a glass to freedom #freedomofspeech”

Though just like Trump’s administration, there seemed to be similar disconnect with the E Street Band.

Over the weekend, guitarist Stevie Van Zandt went on a rant about how the cast was disrespectful to Pence and owed him an apology!

Insisting he did not disagree with the statement, Van Zandt said the cast chose an “inappropriate” time to make their voices heard, and were instead “bullying” the VP-to-be.

Clearly, the guitarist feels a bit differently on the subject than his frontman! Ch-ch-check out some of Stevie’s tweets (below) to see where he stands!

We guess Bruce ended up taking his advice in the end? LOLz!

Do YOU think this will cause problems in the band??
