While being named “Sexiest Man Alive” might be Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson‘s biggest accomplishment of 2016, we haven’t forgotten about his biggest scandal — his Fast 8 feud.

And neither has he!

Back in August, The Rock drew quite a bit of attention when he took to Instagram to SLAM one of his Fast 8 costars for being a “chicken sh*t” and “Candy asses”.

Well, after everyone learned Vin Diesel was the mystery man, the two continued to dance around the issue, but now Johnson is dealing with it head on!

The 44-year-old actor spoke with the Los Angeles Times over the weekend and touched on the drama regarding Vin saying:

“I was very clear with what I said. I’ve been in the game a long time.”

Not that we were expecting an apology, but damn! Way to not back down!

Interestingly enough, the hunky star also revealed that studio execs weren’t exactly thrilled about the feud, until it started drumming up some extra hype for the flick:

“Would Universal have preferred that didn’t happen? Sure, we talked about it. The irony is after that and as they do their tracking and all their analysis, the interest [in Fast 8] shot through the roof to a whole other level.”

Because you know, money can fix EVERYTHING. LOLz!

We’re CERTAINLY interested to see how Dwayne and Vin will act around each other closer to the Fast 8 premiere on April 14 of next year, but until then we’ll wait to see if and how the XXX star responds!

What are YOUR thoughts on The Rock’s comments?
